Experience extending back to 1975
The Insurance Institute of Egypt (IIE), a training and education organisation established in 1975, assists the Egyptian insurance industry in developing qualified personnel through research, scientific publications, education, training and consultation.
On 5 November 1975, the boards of the four Egyptian public-sector insurance companies approved the establishment of the Insurance Institute of Egypt.
On 24 September 1976, IIE officially joined the Chartered Insurance Institute in London at the general conference held in Coventry, United Kingdom.
